The Moscow Thunder Bears outlasted Mohammed bin Mus'ad and the Sydney Sharks, 9-8. bin Mus'ad was impressive in the loss. The Sydney third baseman was 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The winner was Blair Gallacher in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Hassan bin Zuhair took the loss. Picking up the save was 33-year old right-handed pitcher Samuel Vankrimpen.

Isacco Aglietti, who finished 5th in the GBC in hits with 184 in 2057, contributed to the Moscow win with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI.
