Pilots Outdo Fighting Centaurs in Extra Innings
The Sao Paulo Pilots clipped the Athens Fighting Centaurs, 5-4, in 12 innings at Ballpark of Bucharest. The standout performance belonged to Sao Paulo pitcher and Ensley, Florida, native Michael Sullivan. Jason Lee picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Robby Mahoney suffered the loss. Sao Paulo is in third place in the GBC AfSAmOc Division with a record of 63-81.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the 12th. With Sao Paulo trailing 4-3, César Hernández hit a slider from Robby Mahoney to right-center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Pilots had a walk-off win.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Felipe Murillo, the Sao Paulo skipper.
