Bears Walk It Off for 26th Win of Season
Led by Michael Schultz, the San Fernando Bears defeated the Twin Cities River Monsters, 8-7. Schultz hit 3 home runs for the Bears. San Fernando, at 26-23, holds down 5th place in the Frick League Pacific Division.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Schultz hit a slider from Luis González for a solo home run. The Bears, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said San Fernando manager Necco Starr.
