De La Cruz on Fire: 5-for-6 for MGM
It seemed that MGM third baseman Ramón De La Cruz could do no wrong as the Gamblers KO'd the Reds, 20-15. De La Cruz rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Reds hurlers were throwing.

"I think the Gamblers were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Campbells fan after the game.

"I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant De La Cruz in the postgame press interview.

Ramón De La Cruz hit a solo-shot off Edgar Gutiérrez in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Xhemil Gacaferi in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Duane Goodman in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.

So far on the season, De La Cruz is hitting .378 with 14 home runs, 40 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 56 hits and played in 36 games.
