Mac Craken Pops 3 Out of the Park Against Inferno Friday, August 16th , 2058 Lucas Mac Craken went on an explosive hitting spree against the Tucson Inferno at RandiDome today, launching a trio of blasts to lead the Dodge City Gunslingers to the 15-1 win. The first baseman finished 5-for-6 with 4 runs scored and 5 runs batted in. "It was just one of those days," Mac Craken said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." Tucson skipper Sariyah Latif said Mac Craken was "locked-in." "We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him." Lucas Mac Craken singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Su-hyeon Yi in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Tanner Regimbald in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Josh Foreman in the 9th. Mac Craken is batting .264 this year with 26 home runs, 67 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He has 108 hits in 409 at-bats. |
