Green Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Wednesday, May 29th , 2058 Bob Green roughed up Dearborn Heights Knights pitching in a big way at Mankato Park today, leading the Mankato to a 5-4 win. With his parents and family watching from the stands, the 24-year-old first baseman put on a magnificent show, hitting for the cycle -- collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. "It was a good day for that to happen," a beaming Green said after the game. "I really got some good looks and delivered. Sometimes you're just on." He finished his historic day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 3 runs batted in and 2 runs scored. Bob Green tripled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Sergio Barrios in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
