Season Ends for Kuang-an Mak of Gaylord

The season is ending on a bad note for Kuang-an Mak, reliever for the Gaylord Sting Rays. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Mak was hurt against the Bowling Green Corvettes while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 12-13 months.
This season, Mak has nailed down no saves with 36 strikeouts in 39.2 innings. He is credited with 2 wins and 3 losses and has a 5.90 earned run average.
