Cairo Right Fielder Named GBC's Best Rookie Thursday, November 7th , 2058 Bannon McThomas made quite a name for himself in his rookie year. The Cairo right fielder brought home the 2058 Rookie of the Year Award today in recognition of his performance. McThomas played in 156 games, batted .222, collected 125 hits in 563 at-bats, 28 home runs, 78 RBIs, 84 runs scored, 100 walks and compiled a .338 OBP. Bryan Hall of the Sydney Sharks finished second in voting, while José Hernández of the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers finished third. |
