Here’s a quick look at different league records, recognized for different reasons.

YOU PROBABLY DIDN’T KNOW THAT…

• DC Eagle Ernie Horton holds the CBA single season (non 162 game season) Caught Stealing title, with 29 in 2024.
• At age 18, Cesar “Hulk” Hernandez set the all-time mark with 57 home runs over 158 games in the inaugural season. Since then he has 44 homers over 872 plate appearances.
• In his first season in Houston, Jeremy England is on pace to break the Bronze League records for ERA (2.06), winning percentage (.900), and opponents’ OPS (.524).

UNBREAKABLE

If stats from the 162 game inaugural campaign in 2022 are counted for purposes of single-season records, these marks may never fall. Current Silver League 126 game season records shown for comparison:

• Hits: Jamie Malchow, 249 (Miguel Gallegos, 201).
• RBIs: Tony Falcon, 187 (Brad Sayers, 127).
• Games pitched: Dante Arias, 82 (Nigel Berry, 69).
• Games started: Xavier Frade, 39 (Brad Limbach, 33).
• Innings pitched: Adrian “Deadshot” Owens, 257 (Brad Limbach, 224).
