Jose Rodriguez was the most fearsome player on the basepaths for the beginnings of the CBA. Throughout his career “Buzzy” was a slap hitter who got on base both through hits and walks, leading to a high OBP. He led the Golden Bears to their only PL appearance in 2024, and won the MVP in 2023 – the same year in which awards were named. The Jose Rodriguez SL MVP Award commemorates the top player of the Silver League every year, giving Buzzy a long lasting legend in the CBA.

For 9 seasons Brian Bigham was a dominant force closing out games. His combination of a dominant fastball and devastating curveball struck fear in even the most seasoned hitters. He played 6 seasons for the Florida Giants and finished his career with 3 seasons in Miami. At the time of his induction, he sits 2nd in CBA history with a K% of 32.15 and 4th with a FIP of 2.72, which is astounding considering he played his entire career in the PL.
