Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Liberty
The Philadelphia Liberty defeated the Miami Warriors, 12-9, at Freedom Field today. Leading the charge for Philadelphia was left fielder Juan Gonzalez. He was 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The Liberty sport a record of 16-24.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the 11th, with Philadelphia trailing 9-8, Justin Plant jumped on a 1-2 cutter from Gene Ster for a grand slam home run, sending the Liberty to a walk-off win.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Gonzalez. "I like it."
