The Las Vegas Lightning and Cleveland Paladins were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Cleveland Paladins relied on the hitting of center fielder Andres Gonzales to stop the Las Vegas Lightning, 10-7. For the game, Gonzales went 2-3 with a home run and was hit 3 times, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Mike Nash nailed down his 2nd save.

Kiminobu Doi aided the Cleveland cause with a 2-run single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1-3, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Doi said.

With the victory, the Paladins upped their record to 24-21.
