Mythics Take Down Liberty, 4-3
The Toronto Mythics wiggled past the Philadelphia Liberty, 4-3, at Freedom Field. The win was highlighted by the performance of Toronto pitcher Bob Watts. Rickey Bizal came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 3-0. Elroy van Gelder picked up the save, his 2nd.

Toronto used the timely hitting of Miguel Medina to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Mythics on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

Medina called the win "a lesson in teamwork."

Toronto leads the Premier League by 2½ games.
