The Minnesota Freeze topped the New York Empire, 4-3, in Silver League action at Twin City Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Minnesota pitcher and Colón, Panama, native Tony Gamino. Gamino, now 4-3, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 3, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. Minnesota now has a 5-game win streak.
