The Minnesota Freeze overcame a fine performance by Galveston first baseman Luis Pagan to defeat the Gremlins, 7-4, at Island Park. Pagan was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win elevated the Freeze to 41-39.

Matt Boehm hit a 2-run double off Skyler Ledford in the top of the first, which put the Freeze in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Boehm had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.

Boehm told a Minnesota Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
