Getting a good performance from left fielder Butch Sager, the Boston Shoremen defeated the DC Eagles, 8-4. Sager was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Shoremen. The victory gives Boston a record of 45-44.
