Lesage Sharp, Whitewashes Freeze
|
It was a dismal game for the Mt. Vernon Freeze with Bill Lesage on the hill. The Omaha Otters starter was in top form and made it a long day for Mt. Vernon with a 4-0 shutout. He surrendered a total of 2 hits and piled up 16 strikeouts to pick up the win in a rout.
"No offense to the Freeze but that was a cakewalk today," Lesage said to BNN reporters following the win.
In 19 starts this season Lesage has fashioned a 9-6 record and a 4.10 ERA.
