The Denver Wolves picked up a win at The Body Shop, knocking off the Detroit Motors, 5-1. On the mound for Denver was right-hander Alfredo Sotelo, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Wolves lead the Bronze League by 13 games.

It could have been a different outcome for Denver, had it not been for Mike Baker, the former first round draft pick . Baker contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the second inning to put Denver up, 1-0.

"We've got a great group of guys," Sotelo said, "and we're having fun right now."
