Wichita right fielder Sergio Farres made his presence felt in the 6-3 Weasels triumph over the Oklahoma Mammoths. Farres went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Even with the win, the Weasels have a dismal 25-58 record.

Farres came through with some timely hitting for Wichita. With the score 0-0 in the top of the first and one down, Farres hit a full count fastball for a 3-run home run. His 13th home run of the season made it 3-0, Wichita.
