Freeze Shuts Out Carolina
The bats were ice cold today for the Carolina Coyotes at Firestone Field. Wichita Weasels starter Allen Freeze kept the Coyotes cold all day, shutting them out in a 5-0 victory. In a fine outing, the 26-year-old hurler allowed 3 hits while striking out 4 and walking 1.

"I'm not quite sure what was different today," Freeze admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves."

His record for the year is 5-2 in 8 starts and Freeze has a 2.45 ERA.
