Pivotal Game Goes to Host Hawks, 12-11
The Indianapolis Hawks are one game away from a sweep after winning a shootout, 12-11, over the New York Roar at Lids Field today. Roar designated hitter Tye Bruce was named player of the game after he went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice, but could not salvage the game for New York. Indianapolis now holds a - advantage in the best-of- Round 2037.

Matt Pressler had a key at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the eighth for Indianapolis. With the bases loaded and the Hawks leading 11-7, he hit into a double play.

"We haven't stopped playing," New York manager Greg Kingma said. "We didn't get this far to give up."

Game 4 is set to be played tomorrow at Lids Field in Indianapolis. Slated to start are Benjamin Benoit for New York and Josh Clark for Indianapolis.
