Sacramento center fielder Adam Killeen made his presence felt in the 16-5 Golden Bears triumph over the Carolina Coyotes. Killeen hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. Sacramento reliever Chris Allen picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Khalil Smith was saddled with the loss. Sean Schaefer earned his 1st save in 1 tries.

The Golden Bears benefited from a costly error in the top of the first. With Casey Manion at bat and Sacramento leading 2-0, the Carolina miscue allowed Sacramento to plate 2 and take the lead, 4-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Killeen told the Sacramento Herald.

The Golden Bears, now 6-0, have been playing some good baseball.
