It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Eric Fletcher. Fletcher went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Glendale HS pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Ports Ballpark, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the Ft. Lauderdale HS Ports had a win, 25-5, over the Barnstormers.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Eric Fletcher hit a solo-shot off Pat White in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off José Medina in the 6th, walked in a run in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
