Thomas Superb Against Round Rock Wednesday, May 4th , 2050 The Las Vegas Aviators shut out the Round Rock Express 2-0 today behind the strong pitching of Jeff Thomas. Thomas surrendered only 2 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 7. Following the last out, Thomas appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Round Rock manager Joe Johnstone, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken right-hander as the clubs left the field. Thomas's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart. The Express skipper would not comment on the exchange, but at the Aviators press conference, Thomas confirmed that it was regarding the celebration. "He basically told me I was being a lousy winner," Thomas said. "And I told him he was being a lousy loser," Las Vegas manager Phil Adams added.
