Costa Hurls Shutout Tuesday, August 7th, 2035 Iván Costa kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the New York N 2 (DSL) Mets 2 were all smiles after winning 6-0 against the Detroit (DSL) Tigers at Detroit Tigers Complex today. The right-handed Costa gave up no runs in his start, permitted 6 hits and had 7 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Costa said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
