Jenkins Goes on Rampage Against Bay Hawks Friday, April 8th , 2050 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Kurt Jenkins, it came around today. The 17-year-old third baseman scattered hits all over Tulsa HS Fields to pace the Tulsa HS Red Barons to a 21-9 victory over the Anaheim HS Bay Hawks. Anaheim HS skipper Luis Burgos told reporters in the press room that "Jenkins deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Jenkins hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Kurt Jenkins hit a solo-shot off Alex Barnett in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Alex Barnett in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
