White Goes 5-for-6 Against Albuquerque HS Thursday, April 14th , 2050 Fans at Avalanche Ballpark got to see not only a home-team victory today, but also one of the most impressive feats of hitting of the season. The Phoenix HS Avalanche outplayed the Albuquerque HS Red Raiders en route to a 18-1 win, but the standout was right fielder Tommy White. White netted 5 hits in 6 at-bats and finished with a dynamite game line. "Hey, we tried everything we could think of to get him out," Red Raiders manager Ron Sizemore said in postgame comments. "We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the sink, too." Tommy White hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
