Battle Kings Prevail, as Wildcard Series Goes to the Wire Thursday, May 2nd , 2052 When the entire season comes down to one game, Rob Williams said you find out what a team is really about. As it turns out, the Sunrise Manor College Battle Kings are made of fight and tenacity, as the team got by the Aurora College Sun Dogs 4-2 tonight at Battle Kings Ballpark in order to win the Wildcard Series and book a place in the next round. "It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said Williams, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about." Williams hit .368 with a .520 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Sunrise Manor College Battle Kings will play against the Arlington College Marlins in the next round. Arlington College won their series against the Lincoln College Raging Bulls 3 games to 1.
