Division Series Goes the Distance, Arlington College Prevails Sunday, May 12th , 2052 It went the distance, but the Arlington College Marlins finally disposed of the Sunrise Manor College Battle Kings 3-0 in the series clincher at Marlins Park. Winning the finale gave the Marlins the series, 4-3. They will now advance to the League Championship Series. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Arlington College left fielder Billy Smith. He batted .333 in the series, collecting 9 RBIs and scoring 10 runs. "Billy deserves it," said Marlins manager Tommy Jones. "He was the glue that held our club together." The Arlington College Marlins will play against the Vancouver College Bulls in the next round. Vancouver College won their series against the Arlington College Barons 4 games to 2.
