Candelária Slams 5 Hits for Junin Thursday, August 20th , 2054 It was a parade of hits for Luis Candelária of the Junin Junta at Riverfrogs Ballpark today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Candelária finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Junta to a 8-2 victory. "Candelária was really good and we were really bad," groaned Phooeys manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Luis Candelária singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
