Reds Win to Extend Series Lead to 2-0
With starter Shane Baz leading the charge, the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers, 6-2, in Game 2 of the League Championship Series today. The right-hander threw 7 innings of shutout ball at Dodger Stadium to help Cincinnati take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Baz allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7 innings for the Reds. He walked 2 and struck out 2.

Dodgers manager Jeff Harvey did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the World Series."

The next game is set to be played Monday, October 12th, 2026 at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. Slated to start are Clayton Kershaw for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Hunter Greene for the the Cincinnati Reds.
