May, Dodgers Force Game 7 in 14-Inning Marathon
The Los Angeles Dodgers went the distance and then some at Dodger Stadium today to drag themselves back into a tie with the Cincinnati Reds.

It took 14 innings to settle Game 6 of the League Championship Series, but Los Angeles eventually took a walk-off 6-4 win behind the efforts of starting pitcher Dustin May. May threw 5 innings allowing 1 run to aid the Los Angeles cause. The clubs are now tied 3-3 in their best-of-7 series.

Los Angeles won the game in the bottom of the 14th inning. With two outs and Tyler Mahle on the mound for Cincinnati, third baseman Breyvic Valera hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Dodgers fans to their feet.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Valera said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

Game 7 is scheduled for tomorrow in Los Angeles. The scheduled starters for the game are R.J. Herron for Cincinnati and Clayton Kershaw for Los Angeles.
