The Austin Aces got a superb performance from pitcher Gary O'Sullivan, but the Miami Mutiny still won the game, 5-1. O'Sullivan threw 6.0 innings of 1-hit ball. At 87-60, the Mutiny claim first place in the Moonlight Graham League Terrance Mann Division.
The Mutiny got a big at-bat from third baseman Lee Manning. For the game, Manning went 1-3 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Miami a 3-0 lead.
"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Manning told the Miami Citizen.
