Walk-Off Win Makes Virginia Beach 97-58
The Virginia Beach Stars had to overcome a big game from Austin second baseman Orlando Guzmán to leave Oceanview Park with a victory. And they did, winning 8-5. Guzmán went 2 for 6 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Virginia Beach reliever Pat Johnston picked up the win, upping his record to 7-2. John Dyer shouldered the loss. Virginia Beach now has a record of 97-58 with the win.

Virginia Beach won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With one out and John Dyer on the mound for Austin, right fielder Pancho Francisco hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Stars fans to their feet.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Francisco said.
