Steamers Fall to Bacon, 4-3
|
The Macon Bacon beat the Cleveland Steamers, 4-3, at The Pig Pen. The win was due in part to center fielder Pat Moore, who slugged 2 home runs. Norris McDonald earned the win for Macon. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 14-12. The Bacon, at 66-90, sit in 4th place in the Joe Jackson League Annie Kinsella Division.
