Rodríguez Powers Shamrocks to 8-3 Win
|
A 4-RBI performance from the 26-year old right fielder Manuel Rodríguez helped the Boston Shamrocks beat the Potomac Double O's, 8-3. For the Double O's, the loss makes them 6-13.
With Boston leading 2-0 in the top of the third, Rodríguez hit a curveball from Tracy Kelly for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Shamrocks ahead, 5-0.
"Good win for our guys," said Rodríguez.
