Double O's Drop Shamrocks, 4-3
|
In the 4-3 Potomac win over Boston, the impact of William Brown was substantial. Brown, who finished 2nd in the JJL in batting average with .329 in 2051, was 3-5 with 2 home runs. Potomac pitcher Joseph Barber got the win. He's now 1-2. Javier Salduar was tagged with the loss. The Shamrocks fall to 9-12 and continue their lackluster start to the 2055 season.
The Double O's procured the win, in large part because of second baseman Alfonso Flores. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
Flores said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
