Franco Brings A-Game, Storm Beat Cannons
In a low-scoring game between San Diego and Calgary, pitcher Arturo Franco was excellent. The San Diego right-hander helped his team knock off the Cannons, 2-0. Dan Taylor sewed up the save, his 7th. The Storm, now 15-8, have been playing some good baseball.

Franco's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 5 strikeouts in 7.1 innings while allowing 1 hit. Franco goes to 3-2 on the year with 17 strikeouts.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Franco said.
