The Boston Shamrocks got a superb performance from pitcher Roberto Gil. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Virginia Beach. The Stars won the game, 5-3. Gil threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Pedro Estrada was credited with the save for Virginia Beach, his 8th of the season. The loss drops the Shamrocks to 9-14.

Virginia Beach relied on the hitting of Rubén Sousa to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Stars on top, 2-1. For the game, Sousa had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
