Cougars Score 9-6 Win Against San Diego

The Greenfield Cougars powered past the San Diego Storm, 9-6, at Cougar Stadium. Jorge Borunda went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. Allen Jones earned the win for Greenfield. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 3-1. Greenfield is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 10th win in 29 games.
The Cougars got a big at-bat from catcher Eduardo Montaño. For the game, Montaño went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3.
