Stars Rally Past Double O's for 2-0 Series Lead
When the games really matter, the Virginia Beach Stars put on their best show, beating the Potomac Double O's by a final score of 8-7 today. Dave Green went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Virginia Beach now leads Potomac 2-0 in the best-of-5 affair.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Virginia Beach trailing 7-6, Green hit a slider from Adrian Fontenot for a 2-run double. Just like that, the Stars had a walk-off win.

"We haven't stopped playing," Potomac manager Tim Sullivan said. "We didn't get this far to give up."

Game 3 is scheduled for Friday at Ian Fleming Field in Potomac.
