Los Angeles Sweeps into the Field of Dreams Classic
|
With a 2-0 win to wrap up the series at The Hideout, the Los Angeles Agents have eliminated the Cleveland Steamers in the League Championship Series and move on to the Field of Dreams Classic.
Los Angeles controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 4-0 sweep.
Roberto Morán led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .462 batting average, along with a .429 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 1 runs.
"We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish."
The Los Angeles Agents don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Virginia Beach Stars - Miami Mutiny series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Field of Dreams Classic schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
