Host Agents Drop Pivotal Game 5, Now Trail Series 3-2
The Los Angeles Agents got a strong 5 innings from right-hander Fernando Torres today but failed to take Game 5 of the Field of Dreams Classic from the Virginia Beach Stars. Torres held the Stars to 2 runs on 5 strong innings but Virginia Beach took the game by a score of 2-1 and now lead the best-of-9 series, 3-2.

Virginia Beach used a well-timed hit by Rubén Sousa to capture the win. The center fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Stars ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

Agents manager Ken Hanson did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference "if and when we win the Field of Dreams Classic."

Game 6 is scheduled for Monday at Oceanview Park in Virginia Beach.
