2000 Hits for Bruno Thursday, April 22nd , 2055 It was a day of mixed emotions for Macon left fielder Andrés Bruno, who collected his 2000th hit in the club's 4-3 loss to Noblesville . Bacon and Millers fans alike cheered Bruno as he reached base after his milestone hit. "I wish the score had been different," Bruno said after the game, "but it was a great moment. The standing ovation was really special... even the fans wearing Millers caps were cheering me." Bruno was 2-for-3 on the day. Bruno is hitting .270 lifetime with 2000 hits, 390 doubles, 57 triples, 351 home runs, and 1051 RBIs to date. He has scored 1259 runs and stolen 302 bases.
