Spinners Manny Acosta Swings Hot Bat, MGL Winner Monday, April 26th , 2055 Manny Acosta punched, poked and pummeled the baseball last week and today he garnered a majority of the votes for the Moonlight Graham League Player of the Week award. The Greenville Spinners second baseman slashed out a .400 average with 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 12 RBIs. So far this season, Acosta has recorded a .306 batting average with 22 hits, 5 home runs, 18 RBIs, 11 runs scored and a .342 OBP. |
