5-Hit Blitz by Miller
Monday, June 29th , 2054
It was a good day at Warrior Park. The Bronx Warriors whipped the South Fork Frogs 7-4 and right fielder Ty Miller showed off a hot bat, going 5-for-5 at the plate.
"Some days, lady luck is on your side," Miller told BNN reporters after the game.
Warriors manager Terry Farrand told the beat writers otherwise, calling the 35-year-old "focused and patient."
"It's not luck," he said. "He has a solid approach to hitting. Ty hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have."
Ty Miller singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
This season Miller has delivered 106 hits in 301 at-bats for a .352 average with 20 home runs. He is getting on base at a .381 clip and his totals also include 69 RBIs and 45 runs scored. This year Miller has played in 76 games.
