Aces Out of Playoff Race Saturday, September 21st , 2047 It's not quite the championship run that fans in Austin might have envisioned. The Austin Aces were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in Field of Dreams and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Aces manager Fletcher Conner. This is the club's 12th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2035.In total, the Aces have missed the playoffs 37 times in their 59-year history. Austin has won the Field of Dreams Classic 4 times in their history. |
