Boston Hurler Gets Most Votes in MGL Tuesday, September 1st , 2054 Pedro Hernández of the Boston Shamrocks was rock-solid and steady on the hill this month. He spun a fine 2-0 won-lost mark and 3.86 ERA in 0 starts to get the Moonlight Graham League Rookie of the Month honors. Hernández had a very impressive August, finishing with 16 strikeouts in 11.2 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .209 average. For the year Hernández has 25 saves. In 49 relief appearances he has hurled 46 innings, fanned 56 and issued 28 walks with a 3-7 record. The Boston reliever has recorded a 5.28 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .258 when he is on the hill. |
