5-for-8 Day for Stoneman Tuesday, September 29th , 2054 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Will Stoneman today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Field of Honor 2 and paced the Mutiny to a 9-4 win over the Washington Eagles. After his dynamite batting performance, the Miami right fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 8 tries and put his name in the record book. Will Stoneman grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Vicente Guerrero in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, struck out in the 9th, doubled in the 11th, flied out in the 14th, singled in the 16th and hit an RBI triple in the 17th.
