Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for New Paltz Sunday, August 23rd , 2054 Any hopes of a playoff berth for the New Paltz Hawks this season were already a long shot at best. But even the longshot hopes are now gone, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Hawks have made the playoffs 12 times in their 66 years as a FOD Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 14th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2040. New Paltz last won the Round 2 in 2022. |
